Floor Plan Service

Floor Plans can be used to get the right approximate square footage of your home.  Tax assessor values are often incorrect.  Additions and modifications to the home since original construction may not be included.   

As a marketing tool they can also be copied into listing brochures, allowing buyers to study the layout and be assured of features of your house. 

Fees for the floorplan will be waved if you order an appraisal through Ostlund Appraisals for up to $100. When it comes time to order an appraisal we already have all the info needed so there will be no need for an additional appraisal inspection which in turn will reduce turn around time leaving you with less to worry about.

Lower Your Property Taxes

Proposition 8 Decline-in-Value (Owner's Request for Review or Property Value)

If you are like most of us the value of your home has dropped significantly during this past year, yet you are still paying the same property taxes as when it was higher. Turn a negative into a positive.  You may be eligible for a property tax reduction under Proposition 8!  Proposition 8 allows a temporary reduction in assessed value when property suffers a "decline-in-value".  This action is authorized under Section 51 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.  A decline-in-value occurs when the current market value of your property is less than the current assessed value.  If you purchased in the last year or two, chances are your property has declined in value.   You can save hundreds of dollars by having your tax rate applied to a lower assessed value for 2007 and 2008.  The deadline to apply for the re-assessment is December 31st, 2007.   To learn more about reducing your property tax payments, press the button on the left that says reassessment.
